Lagoon

Last Saturday, Chris and I went to Lagoon with our good friends Eve and Rory. We got there early enough in the morning that the lines weren't too bad. My goal since I have been married is to get Chris to ride a rollercoaster. When we went to Lagoon last year, he wouldn't get near one. Saturday her rode the wooden roller coaster not once, but twice!!! We had a lot of fun (no pictures because we didn't take our camera) and enjoyed spending time with another couple who don't have kids. On the way home, our friend Rory was driving and we decided it would be fine to follow a Utah State Patrolman's car because they would never do anything wrong. We were going the same speed as everyone else (around 80) including the cop. We were laughing about having a citizen's arrest because the cop was speeding. She pulled over to the side of the road. Little did we know that she was going to pull us over. She was on her way to pick up debris in the middle of the freeway (with no caution lights on). Luckily, Rory didn't get a ticket so all turned out well. Lesson learned--don't follow a cop regardless of the speed of the other traffic.
